行政区划

隶属江苏省苏州市管辖。总面积为809.93平方公里，其中陆域面积665.96平
方公里。
辖国家级太仓港经济技术开发区、省级高新区、科教新城、城厢镇、
沙溪镇、长江口旅游度假区(浏河镇)、浮桥镇、璜泾镇、双凤镇、娄东街道。
2016年全市户籍人口47.95万人，到年底在册流动人口48万人。

Under the jurisdiction of the City of Suzhou of Jiangsu province,
Taicang covers a total area of 809.93 square kilometers, including a
land area of 665.96 square kilometers.
It has jurisdiction over the national-level Taicang Port Economic and
Technological Zone, a provincial-level high-tech zone (under
construction ), the New Science and Education Town, Chengxiang
Town, Shaxi Town, the Yangtze River Estuary Tourist Resort (Liuhe
Town), Fuqiao Town, Huangjing Town, Shuangfeng Town and Loudong
Sub-district. In 2016, the total registered population of the city
reached 479,500, while the registered floating population reached
480,000.
