以港强市

太仓港是上海国际航运中心重要组成部分,是长江外贸第一大港,列全球百强
集装箱港口第39位,开辟各类集装箱航线183条,其中近洋航线22条,推动
近洋航线覆盖范围增加到近洋8个国家(地区)、22个港口,近洋直达集散中
心全面建成;内贸干线45条,覆盖20个沿海主要港口;长江(运河)支线76
条,网络覆盖沿江和内河港口增至48个;至洋山港航线40条,实现“公交化”
运营。太仓大力实施“以港强市”战略,深入推进“沪太通关一体化”、“启运港
退税”等政策,推广“沪太通”物流新模式,推进国际陆海联运物流发展。着力
发展壮大海工装备、现代物流等临江产业,完善港城支撑产业、集聚人口的服
务功能,进一步繁荣港口经济。

Taicang Port is an important component of the Shanghai International
Shipping Center as well as the No.1 port for foreign trade development
relying on the Yangtze River. It ranks 39th among the Global
Top 100 Container Ports, with 183 container lines, including 22
near-sea shipping lines, which cover eight neighboring countries
(regions) and 22 ports (a near-sea nonstop collection and distribution
center has been established), 45 trunk lines for domestic trade,
which cover 20 main ports along the sea, 76 branches of the Yangtze
River (canal), which cover 48 riverside and inland ports, and 40 lines
to Yangshan Port. The “public-transport-based” operation mode has
been established. Taicang has been making great efforts to implement
the “port-based city development” strategy to deeply promote
the “Shanghai-Taicang Customs Clearance Integration” and the
implementation of the “port of departure tax refund” policy. It is
extending the new logistics mode called “Shanghai-Taicang
Linkage” and strives for a further development of global joint rail and
water transportation. It focuses on developing maritime engineering
equipment and industries along rivers, such as modern logistics. It
also strives to improve the development of the industries supporting
the port city and the service functions for concentrated population to
promote a more prosperous development of port economy.
